Build from Scratch Demo

Hello, I am a new user with Pigment and am following the instructions in the Build from Scratch Demo lesson. I have followed along up until we upload the transaction list. When it is complete and I click on the transaction list title “MYERP” from the upload, there is no dimension data for Country, Region, Sub Region, Products and Date. I see the units sold but that is about it. I followed along with the video but am now getting blanks. Can someone help with this error.

Creating Dynamic User-Defined Categories

Hello,I would like to know if it is possible, based on the value of a text metric, to create a dimension. The idea is that I have users who will enter requests and then group these requests by category. I do not know the list of these categories and each user will be able to create their own list. However, I would like users to be able to filter requests by category and add the category as a characteristic of the request. Thank you in advance for your help.Have a good day.Antoine

Merge 3 text metrics into One

Hello,I have 3 text-type metrics with the same dimensions, and I would like to combine these 3 metrics into a single text-type metric.In this new metric, I would like to add a category dimension to be assigned to each of the values from the original metrics.Please let me know if I'm not clear enough!!Thank you for your help :) A basic example below :

Filtering and Pivoting Monthly Data

Hello,I need help retrieving information for a metric of the monthly type. This metric consists of 3 dimensions (operation, cohort, month). I would like to retrieve in which cohort the operations are in December '23. And thus obtain a cohort type metric with the operation as its dimension.For exemple for this operation, I like to retrive the M+106 cohort. Thanks for your help.:)

Count number of characters

Hello, I have a column with IDs that either have X, either have Y number of characters. The characters are a combination between letters and numbers. I would now need to find a way to single out all the IDs with X number of characters. I was thinking of creating a 2nd column that gives me 1 if the column has X characters, 0 if Y characters. However, I am struggling to find a way how to count. Is this possible? Thank you very much in advance

assign one dimension to another (resources to project tasks)

Hi! I’m working on a model for a company with project-oriented business.I need to allow users to create planned projects from scratch. Every project is dimensioned with Project Task (child of Project dimension), Resource (independent dimension - all resources are available for all projects) and Date (month) and Metrics - workload (hours).First, a user should create project structure by creating Project Tasks within the Project, then assign the Resources to every Project Task and then fill the workload metric.I want user to work on a table like at the image.My question is how to give the user an ability to assign Resources (one or more) to the given Project/Project Task. Multiple dependent dropdowns in one dimension

I have a dimension that has 6 fields = 3 pairs of two dimensions.Dimension: GL accountPairs: Lower account group → Upper account groupPairs are different because account grouping can be done differently for different reporting formats. I am abel to set up dependency for 1 pair. But I cannot use the same metric for another pair. As a result, I need to create duplicate metrics for dependencies for other 2 pairs. Is there a cleaner approach?

Scenarios: Override a Scenario with a Different Scenario

Hello! Is there functionality to ‘override’ a scenario with all of the inputs from a different scenario?In my case,I have branched off a ‘New #1’ scenario from my ‘Current’ scenario. I have changed some of the inputs in the ‘New #1’ scenario so that these 2 scenarios are different. Now and I am wondering if there is a way to merge the ‘New #1’ scenario back to be an exact copy of the ‘Current’ scenario?

Images Widgets - Google Drive images

HiI’ve seen the new images widget option you launched recently. That’s great, thank you! But: how can I add images from my desktop or from my Google Drive?If I want to add e.g. our logo from our official source, I need to take the official one we have in Drive, but that URL or pasting it into my desktop, is not working. It just works with a web page in my browser (but I can’t use that one as is not with the quality I want or not coming from our official sources) Thank you!!

Looker Webhook Import Issue

I am attempting to import data from Looker via webhook but am receiving a CSV Format & Mapping error each time. I have the saved import configuration ID correct in the webhook address, but when importing, it seems like Pigment does not recognize the column headers. I was careful to import the same exact CSV when setting up the configuration, it should have the same headers. Would anyone be able to advise on this?

Scenario Display Names

Hello there! Is there any functionality to edit display names of Scenarios in Pigment? (Or any work arounds)Here is the situation: I’m working on a BvA (comparing Actuals vs. Plan). In order to show my Actuals data I am using the “Current Forecast” scenario (because the Current Forecast scenario always has the latest and greatest actuals). However, when I put the BvA together the title of the scenario is “Current Forecast” and I don’t see any way to change it to “Actuals”Questions:1) Is there functionality to edit display names of Scenarios in Pigment?2) Is it general best practice to have a “Actuals” scenario (fully dedicated to only showing Actuals data)

Best practices for exports

We have the Snowflake connector already set up to bring data into Pigment, however we’re now looking to export data from Pigment back into Snowflake for reporting. I’m wondering if this is possible to automate (I didn’t see any Pigment->Snowflake functionality mentioned here) - ideally I can set up a table with a few metrics that is exported to Snowflake monthly.
